Large Panoramic 1.2 metres wide - Montgomery Castle to Corndon Hills

This was taken on a June evening with the sun getting very low casting lovely long shadows of the trees and making the Castle and rocky outcrop appear in high relief.

Available in 1.2 metres wide Panoramic and full canvas sizes this photograph shows a sunset beyond Castle Hill reflected in Lymore Pool Montgomery.

Horses captured on Offa's Dyke at 7am on an early June morning on one of our circular walks from Montgomery out along Offa's Dyke.

Stormy weather here on the England-Wales borders always brings unexpected delights. This canvas photograph captures the mid-summer sunrise over Corndon hills as the mist bubbles away - taken from Montgomery after the previous nights storm.

As the sun sets in the valley beyond Montgomery Castle it is sometimes reflected beneath low lying clouds to give a dramatic backdrop to the Castle and treescaped outline - making for wonderful photo opportunities

A local farmer, Ifor Humphreys,  farms Welsh Wagyu beef cattle on his farm above Abermule, near Montgomery. This image was taken from the highest point on Ifor's farmland along the Montgomery to Abermule valley perfectly framing Corndon Hill in the distance.

Another view of Montgomery Castle taken as the sun sunk low in summer showing the Castle astride it's rocky outcrop reaching out across the valley to Corndon Hill.

We take our camera's with us out on walks around Montgomery and there is usually some interesting scenes to capture along the way.  Here while walking along a marked route across a field of local Barley I managed to take this shot of Anthea, waist high in the early seasons crop.

Some of my favourite images of scenes around Montgomery are those that capture a distant view framed alongside nearby trees, fencing, shrubs and plants.  This photo canvas has subtle hues and pastel colours that compliment neutral coloured walls nicely

As is often the case some of the very nicest views around our region are seen either early in the morning, as the sun rises or later towards evening as it sets.   The sunlight filtering through the atmosphere gets effected in many subtle ways... sometimes a vivid burning red and sometimes a more subtle Yellow as captured here in this sunrise shot.   These large, wide canvasses are perfect above fireplaces, beds and large wall spaces.
